About Us

Welcome to NCI Affiliates, Inc. (NCI). We invite you to explore the menu of services that our agency provides throughout the Central Coast. We are a private non-profit agency with a single purpose of promoting independence and inclusion for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Through our comprehensive programs, we offer vocational training, educational opportunities, adaptive living skills, advocacy, and community living support. Serving the community since 1979, NCI’s mission is to empower individuals to thrive and lead fulfilling lives within their communities.

WHAT WE DO

Person centered thinking is paramount in our philosophy, along with the responsibility of following accreditation standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, our agencies take pride in making sure we are improving the lives of the adults we serve.

NCI Affiliates, Inc is committed in developing evidence-based employment services to promote Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) and procuring affordable housing for Extremely-Low Income (ELI) individuals with disabilities, in all regions we manage.

Our motto of “Navigating Community Inclusion” in each community we are in has allowed NCI to operate a variety of training opportunities and join civic alliances that showcase our commitment to public service and stakeholders at large. We are so grateful to the community members of each region we operate in for the support to our mission.

Team Members

NCI Affiliates is a private, non-profit agency initially established for the purpose of providing rehabilitation and community living services adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. The agency is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and employs a staff of 80 plus individuals to administer and provide services through the agencies vocational and community living programs.
