Staff Qualifications: All potential employees must meet NCI and AHI background screening requirements (NCI and AHI currently use LifeScan Fingerprinting Services for background checks) Employees should be trained in working with developmentally disabled adults, human rights, health and safety, which include Blood Borne Pathogens, CPR/First Aid certification. Employee must have a safe driving record and provide a current DMV print out and current automobile insurance. NCI and AHI encourages continued education in the field of disabilities, CPI ( Crisis Prevention Intervention) and requires its employees to attend monthly mandatory CBT ( Competency Based Training) training classes.
